Maritime cybersecurity company Cydome has launched a tool that automatically generates and submits cybersecurity incident reports to the U.S. National Response Center.

The no-cost tool is available to fleets, ports and offshore platforms, and is designed to simplify the now-mandatory reporting process for a range of cyber-security incidents, including GPS spoofing, satellite communication failures and unauthorized device connections.

“This tool puts operators back in control,” said Nir Ayalon, CEO and Founder of Cydome. "We designed it to be simple enough for maritime companies, yet powerful enough to deliver a full audit trail for inspectors."

As of July 16, all maritime cyber incidents must be reported to the National Response Center. By January 12, 2026, all U.S. maritime personnel are required to complete cybersecurity training. Starting July 16, 2027, owners and operators must also designate a cybersecurity officer, conduct a cybersecurity assessment, and submit a cybersecurity plan for approval.
