Cybersecurity startup Wib, which has developed an API security platform, has been acquired by U.S. cyber giant F5.
F5, which has a market cap of approximately $11 billion on Nasdaq, will add Wib’s capabilities to its Distributed Cloud Services, enabling vulnerability detection and observability in application development processes, ensuring that risks are identified and policies implemented before APIs enter production.
Wib raised a $16 million investment in November 2022 led by Koch Disruptive Technologies (KDT), the growth and venture arm of Koch Industries, with participation from Kmehin Ventures, VentureIsrael, Techstars, and existing investors.
